Vinyasa Flow

In our Vinyasa Flow classes we emphasize on the connection between movement and breath. Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic hour of practice full of stretchy and strengthening positions. During this hour the teacher will guide you through a sequence with focus on connection between body and breath and it'll definitely make you sweat! Every teacher teaches different sequences every time, but you can expect a strong, well-rounded practice with plenty of challenging asanas.

Vinyasa Flow is open to all levels of practitioners with modifications for beginners and more layers for more advanced practitioners.

Rocket Yoga

Developed by Larry Schultz in San Francisco, The Rocket is known for being fun, fast, and encouraging students to lift up and fly. Rocket yoga encourages the practitioner to let go of fear and embrace the fact that you are stronger than you think you are.

The Rocket Yoga sequences are a series of postures based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga primary and intermediate series. This allows the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga method to be accessible to everyone who is willing to try.

At Prague Yoga Collective we try to stay true to the lineage of Rocket Yoga and invite you all to come try this powerful, fun and graceful practice!

Open to all levels.

Fundamental Flow

Our Fundamental Flow is designed for beginners to gain a foundational knowledge of postures, breathing techniques, and meditation through movement with a special focus on the use of the breath during sun salutations. The class will take a technical approach to postures - bringing attention to alignment in the body and how to gain body awareness.

Open to complete beginners but also seasoned practitioners that want to have a look at the basics again.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of practice. In our Yin classes, the poses are held for a longer period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to focus on the connective tissue such as the ligaments and bones rather than the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.

Yin yoga can be very challenging on a physical, emotional and mental level, and can often yield a deep release or shift in the practitioner. This class is great if you practice lots of fast paced, power flow as it gives us time to slow down and go deeper into our bodies and minds.

Class is open to all levels of practitioners.

Power Flow

Our Power Flow classes focuses on your strength and stamina in your practice. We practice the focus between the breath and body and use it to strengthen our bodies from top to toe. Find your inner strength as well as strengthening your body in this powerful class.

Power Flow is open to all levels of practitioners.

Armbalances & Inversions Flow

Are you feeling a bit stuck in your armbalance and inversion practice? Then this is the perfect class for you!

In our usual classes there is little time to focus on all the details around our armbalances and inversions so we created this class for you guys. We'll flow and move our bodies as usual, but we'll go into closer detail in selected poses to help you excel in your practice with arm balances and inversions.

Different weeks will focus on different postures so make it your weekly playtime and you'll be soaring into your practice in no-time!

This class is suitable for intermediate as well as advanced practitioners.

Vinyasa Flow with Babysitting

We'll have a dynamic hour of practice full of stretchy and strengthening positions. Open to all levels of practitioners and we will be giving modifications for each pose. While we practice there's a babysitter on hand and the babies/kids can be just next to you or in our cosy cafe area being cared for by the babysitter. You are very welcome to keep baby/kids next to your mat while you practice, and the kids can come and go as they need.

We are there to help you relax and focus on yourself a little bit more while not having to worry about your little one!

After class there's time to meet the other parents and have a cup of tea and a chat.

Class is open to beginners as well as advanced students.

Guided Meditation

Our guided meditation classes will take any intimidation out of meditation. Each class is uniquely curated by our talented instructor Becky who will safely and harmoniously guide you through this class with her voice.

Guided Meditation is a perfect way to end your week and we invite you all, beginners to advanced practitioners, to come and enjoy this beautiful addition to our fall schedule.

Dance Yoga

Dance Yoga with Betti

Our very own Betti Rompos is combining her two loves of dance and yoga into a great, fun and uplifting class!

Yoga and dance are united in their origins. This is a creative form of movement combining yoga and expressive free dance as a means of power-charge your body and soul. Yoga Dance trains the physical body, and thus is a form of hatha yoga, although it differs in some features from other techniques.

This class is suitable for beginners to advanced practitioners and don't be scared if you're 'not a dancer'. This class is definitely for everyone!

Gentle Flow

In this class we will slow down our regular Vinyasa Flow with a more gentle approach.

Gentle Flow is is slow pace flow class incorporating gentle stretching and strengthening movements which are performed in a sequence, concentrating in for maximum benefits. Awareness of the breath helps to calm the mind and enables you to move deeper into the stretches. It's a wonderful addition to your regular fast-paced vinyasa practice, or just simply amazing for those of you that prefer a gentler approach to your practice.

This class is open to all levels of practitioners.

Manifestation Flow

In this Vinyasa sequence we transition away from the never-ending stream of demands, to-do lists and things yet undone. We bring ourselves to the present moment, one inhale and exhale at at time. We draw strength and energy into our hearts so we can remember what is real and important to us, and move on from what isn’t. This challenging, intensive sequence focuses on unlocking the heart centre, physically and otherwise, releasing stuck doubts and fears and harnessing our energy to manifest our dreams! We build our inner strength, core power, heat heat heat!, develop arm tone and cultivate flexibility of mind, body and heart.

Are you ready to be empowered to take action, believe in yourself and raise the frequency of your thinking, words and actions? Come Om!

This class is open to all levels of practitioners.

Morning Yoga

This one is for the early-birds!

Start off your early mornings with an hour of strong, yet mindful yoga practice. Let the teacher guide you through your body and mind for the best possible start of the day. This class is more towards Hatha Yoga, but with some Vinyasa sprinkled through the hour.

This class is open to all levels of practitioners.

Restorative Yoga

Come and treat yourself with an hour of blissful Restorative Yoga.

This practice enables deep relaxation as you are holding poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you.

The main focus of Restorative Yoga is that by relaxing in poses, with the aid of props, without strain or pain, we can achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Restorative yoga is very relaxing and slow paced. We'll use props, like blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps so that you are supported in your pose comfortably. You will then hold the pose for an extended period of time.

This practice is great to balance an active yoga schedule or to give yourself a break when you feel under the weather.

This class is open to all levels of practitioners.
