50hr Rocket Yoga Teacher Training

“Turn your Ambition into Intention”

— LARRY SCHULTZ

Join our beloved PYC teachers Lisa Wakenshaw, Alex Rodoni, Kara Magalhaes and our dear friend David Cabezas Sanchez for 50 hours of deepening your personal practice and refining your teaching skills, with a strong focus on Rocket Yoga.

This intensive is designed for dedicated practitioners with an established personal practice - ideally around 3 years of consistent experience - as well as teachers who already hold a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training certificate and would like to expand their understanding of Rocket Yoga and how we share it at Prague Yoga Collective.

Across two weekends in May, we’ll come together to deepen our own practice, explore how to begin teaching the Rocket series, and build meaningful, lasting relationships within our community. It’s a powerful opportunity to grow - both in your personal practice and in the way you hold and share space as a teacher.

Align & Refine

The Structure:

This course is an introduction to the foundations of Prague Yoga Collective’s teaching methodology within the Rocket Practice and includes:

  • Asana alignment and advanced Transitions

  • Study & practice of Pranayama, Bandhas & the Yamas/Niyamas both within your personal practice and as a teacher.

  • Learning how to teach and Sequence Rocket as well as implement it into your own personal practice.

  • The History of Rocket Yoga and Rocket yoga manual.

  • Adjustments & Alignment of basic and advanced asanas

  • Swadhyaya

    • One of the most powerful parts of our teacher training program will challenge your mind, body and spirit – facilitating the awakening required to become a truly powerful teacher.

The core of Prague Yoga Collective’s methodology lies in the practice of self-study - (Swadhyaya). This module is devoted to gently uncovering deeply rooted beliefs, patterns and character traits that may hold us back from living authentic and courageous lives.

We invite teachers to approach this process with curiosity - staying open, reflective and willing to truly look at what is within. Rather than trying to fix or judge ourselves, this work asks us to observe honestly, to listen closely, and to recognise both the limitations and the strengths that shape how we move through the world and how we show up as teachers.

This exploration calls for honesty, humility and a sincere commitment to your own growth. Through this lens of self-inquiry, we begin to teach not from performance, but from awareness - grounded in lived experience and aligned with who we truly are.

Meet the instructors

Alex Rodoni
Alex’s yoga journey began in 2010 in California near her hometown.
In 2013, she underwent two knee operations and used yoga as a means of recovery. Meditation taught her how to overcome physical pain, and Asana practice slowly allowed her to regain full range of motion. She’s continued to nurture her yoga journey throughout her time here in Prague. She received a 200-hr teacher training certificate in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga from Yoga Vimoksha in Goa, India in December 2015. She also completed a 500-hr advanced teacher training in Ashtanga from Kranti Yoga in Goa, India in January 2017. She specializes in Vinyasa flow with special attention to breath work, using the breath to sync the mind to the body.

Lisa-Marie Wakenshaw
Lisa was introduced to Hot Yoga in 2005, and since then her yoga journey has taken her around the world and back. She hasn’t committed to one single practice, instead training across multiple styles to broaden her teaching skills and deepen her personal practice. She has completed teacher trainings in Hatha Yoga, AcroYoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Pre/Post-Natal/Baby, Rocket Yoga, and Hot Yoga, and is also trained in Partner Acrobatics, Flying Therapeutics, Thai massage. She loves travelling, and yoga has given her the privilege to teach and work all over the world. She teaches with a strong focus on the connection between breath and alignment, as the physical form is nothing without the support of the breath.

Kara Magalhaes
Kara has been teaching with Prague Yoga Collective since 2021 and is a senior teacher within the community. Deeply committed to her own growth, Kara is endlessly curious and truly thirsty for knowledge, continually refining both her practice and her teaching.

Her main focus lies in Rocket, 4Beat and Vinyasa, where her patience, precision and attention to detail create a supportive and intelligently structured experience for students. Kara is known for her steady presence and thoughtful guidance, helping practitioners build strength, clarity and confidence in a way that feels both grounded and empowering.

David Cabezas Sánchez
David is an internationally recognized Rocket Yoga teacher and E-RYT 500 with over 20 years of practice. Originally from Venezuela, his journey began in 2004 and has since taken him around the world, teaching workshops, retreats and teacher trainings across Europe and beyond.

A licensed Rocket®️ Vinyasa Training Facilitator and YACEP provider, David blends technical precision with creativity, strength and joy. His teaching invites students and teachers alike to deepen their practice with curiosity, confidence and community at the heart of the experience.
