Get a Grip: Mobility, Mastery & Meaningful Touch with Bruce Chung

A Workshop Series for Students & Teachers Alike

We are so excited to have our very own Bruce Chung come and finally teach a workshop series open to the public! Usually he reserves his time with our teacher trainees only when he comes, but this time, he’s here for all of us! Students and teachers alike.

This 3-part workshop series will take place of Saturday and Sunday June 7th & 8th in our Letná Studio and is open to everyone able and willing.

SATURDAY 7/6

8-10.30am

Feathered and Fearless: Mobility and Pincha Mayurasana

Pincha mayurasana is more than balancing upside down. It’s cultivating control, strength, and awareness in the shoulders, spine, and core. In this workshop, we’ll explore mobility practices that improve shoulder flexion, scapular stability, and enhance understanding of the spine and core relationship to create a more confident and sustainable pincha.

You’ll learn how strength and active range training can unlock access to this pose—not just by going upside down, but by understanding what your body needs to get there.

Expect a blend of education, mobility drills, playful progressions, and personal breakthroughs.

Breakfast Break

12-2.15pm

Throne Ready: Mobility and King Pigeon

King Pigeon Pose is often admired but rarely understood. This posture requires more than flexibility—it asks for active mobility in the hips, spine, and shoulders.

This workshop breaks down the elements of King Pigeon through a mobility-focused approach. You’ll learn how to train the end ranges of motion needed for deep backbends, develop the strength to support your flexibility, and discover intelligent ways to approach this pose that work for your body.

Walk away feeling more open, empowered, and supported in your journey toward deep, liberating backbends.

SUNDAY 8/6

1.30-4.30pm

In Good Hands: Hands-On Assists Training

Hands-on assists are more than just guiding someone deeper into a pose—they're an opportunity to support nervous system safety, expand proprioception, and invite a richer experience of embodiment.

In this 3-hour training, we’ll practice how to use touch as a way to meet someone where they are, and offer information that complements their individual structure and capacity.

You’ll learn how to give thoughtful, consent-based adjustments, how to read what a body may need based on mobility principles, and how to blend language, props, and tactile cues in a way that feels empowering.

Whether you're a teacher, bodyworker, or curious student, this training will build your confidence in offering meaningful, informed touch that enhances connection—without overriding the body’s wisdom.

These workshops are for everyone, beginners and seasoned movers and teachers alike.

You can choose to attend one or two days, and we highly recommend attending the full weekend:

FULL WEEKEND: 3900 CZK

PYC STAFF & ALUMNI: 3200 CZK

1 Workshop: 1500 CZK

For over a decade and across four continents, Bruce Chung has dedicated himself to inspiring yogis around the world. From Toronto to Singapore, Hong Kong to Dublin, and Bangkok to Cape Town, his personal practice is as varied as the places he has lived, and he has cultivated a teaching style that reflects his global perspective.

Bruce’s thirst for knowledge has led him to acquiring thousands of hours of training from world-renowned teachers. His greatest teachers, however, are the students he’s had the privilege of guiding, which provides ongoing texture and dimension to his continually evolving practice. Bruce believes that the path of yoga is a life-long expedition to self-reflection and realisation, and is passionate about sharing this message through his classes.

English is his first language, he can also speak a bit of Tagalog, French, Thai, and Spanish.
