4BEAT: Practice, Play & Teach with Nino Russo
24-25/10, 2026
Come join Nino for a deep-dive into the core of the 4BEAT Practice.
We’re VERY excited to welcome Nino Russo back to Prague for another weekend of 4BEAT practice, exploration, movement and teaching!
Nino has been moving and practicing yoga since 2017, with a background in Ashtanga, Restorative, Yin, Rocket and, most importantly, 4BEAT — his great passion and speciality. He also co-teaches the 4BEAT Teacher Trainings alongside Marcus Veda.
If you joined us for Nino’s weekend last year, you’ll know exactly why we’re so excited to have him back. If you missed it, this is your chance to dive a little deeper into the practice with a teacher who brings equal parts knowledge, curiosity, precision and playfulness to the mat.
This year’s weekend explores both sides of the 4BEAT experience: deepening your own practice and learning how to make the practice more accessible to everyone.
Expect dynamic practices, pranayama, balance, transitions, assists, plenty of exploration — and a special session dedicated to how we can teach 4BEAT (and other set sequences) to a much wider range of bodies and experience levels.
Whether you’re a long-time 4BEAT practitioner, a teacher looking for fresh inspiration, or simply curious about what all this 4BEAT business is about, there’s something here for you.
Come for a class, a workshop or join us for the whole weekend!

BACK LINE 4BEAT Extended Practice + Pranayama
Saturday 24/10 - 9-10.45am
We’ll kick off the weekend with a classic Nino practice: moving, breathing and exploring the back line.
Expect a dynamic 4BEAT practice woven together with pranayama, with plenty of opportunity to explore the relationship between breath, movement, strength and release.
A great way to start your Saturday and get yourself moving!
Open to All Levels of Practitioners.
BALANCE (NOT JUST ON YOUR HANDS) WORKSHOP
Saturday 24/10 - 12.15-3.15pm
Balance isn’t only about standing on your hands.
In this workshop, we’ll explore ways of finding balance and ease — internally and externally — while working with energy, effort and concentration through Tristana: our three points of focus.
We’ll break down key foundations from standing and seated postures and Surya Namaskara, then use them as launching pads for some of the funkier and funnier things that 4BEAT has to offer.
We’ll explore:
Half Moon, Three-Legged Half Moon and other standing balances
UHPG and more challenging standing balances
Crow and its many different entry points
Headstand — and where you might go from there (if you even care!)
Transitions with lightness, intention and a little bit of grace
This is a playful but technical exploration of how we find balance, build confidence and move with more ease.
Open to All Levels of Practitioners.
FRONT LINE 4BEAT Extended Practice + Pranayama
Sunday 25/10 - 9-10.45am
Sunday morning starts with another strong practice focused on the front line.
Expect movement, breath, heat and plenty of 4BEAT goodness, with pranayama woven throughout.
Come ready to move, breathe and explore.
Open to All Levels of Practitioners.
OPEN LEVEL AND ACCESSIBLE TEACHING Discussion & Ideas Sharing
Sunday 25/10 - 12.15-3.15pm
How do you teach an open-level class without changing the sequence every five seconds?
How do you make a set practice work for the oldies, the stiffies, the preggos, the bendy wendies — without losing the experienced practitioners?
This workshop is all about making our teaching more accessible while keeping the integrity, challenge and magic of the practice intact. We’ll look at ways of offering options, communicating intelligently and adapting the way we teach without completely changing the outline of the sequence.
Expect discussion, idea sharing, practical exploration and plenty of Nino’s experience and insight into teaching different bodies and different levels in the same room.
Come if you teach. Come if you’re thinking about teaching. Come if you simply want to understand how to make your own practice more accessible.
COME FOR THE WEEKEND. LEAVE WITH MORE.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your own 4BEAT practice, get a little funkier with your balances, find more lightness in your movement, or rethink how you teach an open-level room, this weekend is an invitation to practice, play, experiment and share.
