Adell Bridges is a globe-trotting yoga teacher, author, and self-proclaimed movement nerd who believes your body is meant to be explored — and enjoyed! With a background in gymnastics and a big love for all things anatomy and neuroscience, Adell blends mindful movement with playful curiosity. Whether you’re upside down in a handstand or simply learning to breathe better, her classes and workshops invite you to move smarter, feel stronger, and have a little fun along the way.

Thanks to her extensive training and international teaching experience, her honest approach is modern and creative, yet firmly rooted in tradition. Her dynamic, powerful classes are combined with deep breathing work to balance the nervous system - in other words, to reconcile with calm. Aurelie is bringing three offerings to PYC. Handstands and the Brain (Workshop) - Sunday Feb 22nd 9:15-11:45

Handstands start in your head—literally. Your brain runs the show, so let’s get it talking to your body in a way that actually helps you get upside down. In this workshop, we’ll break down the real handstand basics—clear, simple, and wall-free. Expect a fun mix of movement and bite-sized theory to boost your confidence, sharpen your technique, and get you kicking up like a pro.

Nerves of Steel: Introduction to Nerve Flossing for Yogis (Workshop) - Sunday Feb 22nd 13:15-15:45

Stretch your nerves?! Yep, that’s a thing. Just like muscles and fascia, your nerves need to move too—and when they do, magic happens. Think: less pain, more mobility, and surprising strength gains (yep, really). In this workshop, we’ll explore key nerve pathways and learn simple, feel-good ways to mobilize them. It’s fun, sciencey, and super easy to weave into your yoga practice or cooldown routine. Get ready for some serious a-ha moments.

“I Create my Reality” Inversions & Drishti Flow (Masterclass) - Friday Feb 20th 18:30-20:30

Sweat, sight, and silliness—let’s flow. In this 2-hour vinyasa class, we’ll weave in drishti (focused gaze), the visual system, and a touch of pratyahara (sense withdrawal) to deepen your connection to movement. Expect playful transitions, spicy inversion drills (the kind you love to hate), and plenty of chances to explore at your edge. No pressure for perfect poses—just breath, flow, and maybe a few laughs along the way.

Wall-A-Holics Anonymous (Workshop) - Saturday Feb 21st 9:15-11:45

You may be a wall-a-holic if... You dream of being able to handstand in the middle of the room, but you just can't get over that dependence on the wall. In this group meeting, we will admit we are wall-a-holics, and commit to abstinence from the wall, by teaching our brains that we are safe without the wall! This workshop will be so much fun and you'll feel like a kid again!

Your Brain and Your Breath (Workshop) - Saturday Feb 21st 13:15-15:15

Breath is power—and your brain holds the secret. We all know mindful breath matters, but did you know different brain areas control different aspects of the breath? In this workshop, we’ll dive deep into the breathing portions of the brain to unlock better range of motion, strength, calm, and stability. Mostly lecture (so grab your notebook!), but bring your mat too—you’ll get to try breathing drills that connect mind and body for real, felt results.
