Join Prague Yoga Collective for an unforgettable week on the wild and beautiful Pacific coast of El Salvador, hosted by Lisa from PYC and our much-loved friend and teacher Bruce Chung.
We’re heading to Casona Tunan in Mizata, a beautiful boutique retreat on El Salvador’s coast with a wonderfully relaxed, authentic feel.
This is a retreat for all humans who want to practice, explore, eat well, laugh a lot and properly switch off — without feeling like they have to spend every waking moment on a yoga mat.
Expect daily yoga, beautiful surroundings, adventures, delicious food, time by the pool, Pacific sunsets and plenty of space to simply do absolutely nothing.
Our Retreat /
Lisa and Bruce will guide you through a varied programme of yoga and movement throughout the week, creating space for both strong, energising practices and slower sessions designed to help you unwind. There will be opportunities to deepen your practice, explore movement in new ways and, most importantly, enjoy being on the mat without taking yourself too seriously.
Whether you’ve been practising for years or you're simply looking for a holiday that includes a little more movement, you’re welcome here.
As with PYC classes, our retreats are designed to be welcoming and accessible to a range of experience levels.
We want you to experience more than just the retreat centre, so two excursions are included in your retreat package:
🌋 Volcano Hike
Lace up your hiking shoes and head into El Salvador’s incredible volcanic landscape for an adventure away from the coast.
Expect big views, beautiful scenery, a bit of a challenge and the satisfying feeling of earning your post-hike relaxation.
♨️ Hot Springs + Café Albania
After all that movement, it's time to slow things down.
We’ll head into the mountains for a day of hot springs, beautiful landscapes and time to relax, with a visit to Café Albania included along the way.
Two very different adventures — and two very good excuses to get off the mat and explore.
One of our favourite things about a retreat is that you don't have to fill every minute. There will be yoga. There will be adventures. There will be good food and good people.
But there will also be slow mornings, long lunches, pool time, naps, books, conversations, sunsets and absolutely no obligation to do anything at all.
Come for the practice. Stay for the community. Leave feeling like you've actually had a holiday.
About Mizata /
Tucked away on El Salvador’s wild Pacific coast, Mizata is a laid-back little beach town where jungle meets ocean and life moves at a much slower pace. Think golden beaches, dramatic volcanic landscapes, warm Pacific water, palm trees and spectacular sunsets — with just enough local life to keep things interesting.
It’s the kind of place where you can spend your morning moving your body, your afternoon swimming or exploring, and your evening watching the sun disappear into the ocean. Beautiful, unspoiled and wonderfully relaxed, Mizata is the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect and enjoy a little bit of adventure along the way.

Our home for the week is Casona Tunan, tucked into the coastal landscape of Mizata.
This isn't a huge, anonymous resort. It's a place with character, warmth and a strong sense of place — exactly the kind of environment we love for a PYC retreat.
Casona Tunan combines traditional Salvadoran character with a relaxed boutique-hotel feel, and its surroundings give us the perfect balance of nature, adventure and serious relaxation. The property also offers experiences ranging from yoga and meditation to surfing, spa treatments, horseback riding and excursions, so there will be plenty to discover beyond our retreat programme.
And yes — there will be plenty of time to enjoy the pool, the sunshine and the general art of doing nothing.
For our retreat, you’ll have a choice of three room options, all designed to be comfortable, relaxed and very much in keeping with the warm, rustic character of Casona Tunan:
King Twin Room - Shared
Perfect for friends, couples or anyone happy to share, the King Twin features two separate beds or a double bed in a cosy, beautifully styled room.
The room includes air conditioning, a private bathroom with a hot rain shower, premium linens, a mini fridge and a small bar area. It’s a lovely option if you want your own bed while sharing the retreat experience (and the cost!) with someone else.

Our most budget-friendly option, the shared dorm is ideal for anyone who’s happy to keep things simple and social.
You’ll share the accommodation with other retreat guests, making this a great choice if you’re coming solo and want to meet people from the very beginning. You’ll still have access to the beautiful Casona Tunan grounds and all the retreat magic happening around you.
